who do not wish to be recorded or filmed you will need to leave the chamber. For members,
officers and others speaking at the meeting it is important that the microphones are used
so viewers on the webcast and others in the room may hear you. Would anyone with a mobile
phone please switch it to silent mode as they can be distracting. I would like to remind
members that although we all have strong opinions of the matters under consideration it is important
retreat members, officers and public speakers with respect.
So kicking straight off we can go into item 1 which is apologies for absence.
No apologies this evening.
No apologies, jolly good.
Do we have any declarations of interest to make?
Nothing of significance.
Okay, so we will move then straight to the first substantive item, which is you all attended
the council meeting that we held and the idea is simply to consider the vote at the council
in favour of 3A. So I'm very very happy to open it up for discussion. I think Councillor
McConville is indicated first.
Thank you Chair. Thank you members for your contributions to the Council meeting we just
had and to all the other members of the Council who aren't obviously on the cabinet for their
thoughts. There was an overwhelming support in that meeting for 3A and I wish the cabinet
to see that through. So happy to move all the recommendations and with regard to I think
it's recommendation three to have that as the 3A and obviously allow you guys to make
the submission. Thank you very much Councillor McConville. I'd like to take the opportunity
to reiterate all of your thanks and also to a second 3A as the selected choice of this
Council and happy to take any further contributions if anybody wishes to say anything else.
Brevity is the key word this evening which is fairly sensible.
So as there are no further contributions we have a proposer from Councillor McConville.
I was very happy to second 3A as the selected option for this council.
All those in favour please indicate.
Thank you very much Members and that is the end of our business.
Oh and it's unanimous so I can't say fairer than that.
Thank you very much, thanks for your contribution and all of your hard work in trying to absorb
some of this stuff.
Thank you.
