Mr Jake Hamilton - 0:00:07
Good afternoon and welcome to the meeting of the personnel committee. This meeting will
be broadcast live to the internet. For those who do not wish to be recorded or filmed,
you will need to leave the chamber. For members, officers and others speaking at the meeting,
it's important that the microphones are used so viewers on the webcast and others in the
the room may hear you.
Would anyone with a mobile phone please switch it
to silent mode as they can be distracted?
So as we, a different start to the meeting,
as we haven't got the chair present,
we need to do an election for a temporary chair.
So do I have any nominations please?
I nominate Councillor Martin to take the chair.
Councillor Jim Martin, should I say.
Cllr Jennifer Hollingsbee - 0:00:57
Thank you, Councillor Hollingsby.
And do we have a seconder?
I will second.
Thank you.
Mr Jake Hamilton - 0:01:02
And do we have any other nominations?
No.
Can I have a show of hands, please?
Thank you.
So that means, Councillor Martin, you are elected as chair.
Cllr Connor McConville - 0:01:38
Thank you very much. Welcome to the meeting of the personnel committee. Thank you for

1 Apologies for Absence

your nominations and vote. So can I open the meeting with any apologies for absence?
Mr Jake Hamilton - 0:01:50
Thank you, Chair. We have apologies from Councillor Holgate and obviously yourself substituting
Cllr Connor McConville - 0:01:59
for Councillor Holgate. Thank you very much. Do any members have a declaration of interest

2 Declarations of Interest

to make? I don't see no declarations. So as we move to item three, which is exclusion
of the public. To exclude the public from the following item of business on the grounds
that it is likely to disclose exempt information as defined in paragraph 4 of part 1 of Schedule
12A to the Local Government Act. And in inverted commas, information relating to any consultations
or negotiations or contemplated conclusions, consultations, negotiations in connexion
with any labour relations matter arising between the authority or a minister of the Crown and
employee of or office holders under the authority. So we will now finish the broadcast. Thank
you very much.
Mr Jake Hamilton - 0:03:09
Could we just seek a proposal in the seconder, please?
Cllr Connor McConville - 0:03:12
Cllr Jennifer Hollingsbee - 0:03:16

I propose that we do exclude the public for this item on the agenda.
Thank you.
Cllr Connor McConville - 0:03:23
