and unusually on this report.
We actually have recommendations to
vote on as opposed to just noting,
so buckle up.
It'll be a ride, Andy.
Thank you, Chair.
Mr Andy Blaszkowicz - 0:02:06
Good afternoon members.
The report provides the board with a
six monthly update in relation to all
those decisions taken by the Chief
Officer for Corporate Estate and
Development since July 2024.
The report also covers other matters
in charity land, including legislative
requirements set by the Charities Act
for the proposed dispositions of charity.
Charity land written reports on the
proposed dispositions of Radner Park
Lodge and the Radner Park up upon store.
As required by this framework are
contained as appendices one and two.
The report provides an update on
the following matters.
The consultation for the refurbishment
of the coastal park play area,
Marine walk,
Beach heart leases,
Lees lift cafe,
temporary relocation,
relocation of the Victoria Pier
foundation stone, the access road closure at the Warren, the lease for the Radner Park
Lodge, the lease for the fishing store in the upper pond in Radner Park and then further
work is ongoing with creative folks in regarding lease extensions for the existing artworks
and new leases for the Pioneer 2025.
The trustees are asked to note the report and agree the new lease is as set out in the
recommendations and detailed in the report appendices.
Happy to take any questions.
Cllr Tim Prater - 0:03:17
Stairs around the room looking for anybody who would like to ask a question.
Or move the report.
I'll move the report.
Cllr Gary Fuller - 0:03:31
Cllr Tim Prater - 0:03:32
We have Gary Fuller moving and Polly Blakemore seconding.
Final shot for asking Andy the difficult question
Cllr Tim Prater - 0:03:39
which he's been looking forward to all month.
Cllr Tim Prater - 0:03:46
In that case we are going to move to the vote on the three recommendations, which is to
receive and note the report to agree a five year lease of Rabner Park Lodge on the basis
of the redacted conditions in one of the offenses and to agree a maximum seven year lease to
be granted on the small equipment store adjacent to Upper Pond at Rabner Park.
All those in favour please share.
That is unanimous. Thank you very much.
Cllr Tim Prater - 0:04:17
You kept that short just because to get me back out of the chair. That was very successful.
Well done. There ends the Folkestone Parks and Pleasure Grounds meeting.
We commence at five o 'clock with the Get Back meeting.
Thank you very much for playing.
